Designing the Vibe: Crafting a Campaign for a Youth Festival

Project Overview 

UN Festival DE Tineret was a fun event made for young people by young people. It took place on August 24-25, 2024, in Cluj-Napoca at UNDA 62. The festival brought Gen Z together for two days full of music, art, creativity, and good vibes. We helped the NGO reach this awesome crowd by creating the poster and the content for it.

Creative Process

The poster design began with a mood board inspired by street art, paint splashes, music, and paper collages, all reflecting youthful energy. We picked bold colors like turquoise and orange to make the design pop and catch the eye. Using these ideas, we added fun elements like splatters, doodles, and graphic details to the poster, giving it a creative, energetic vibe that matches Gen Z’s love for self-expression and bold style.

Challenge 

We wanted the festival to really connect with Gen Z, a generation that loves real and exciting experiences. Our goal was to create a vibe that grabbed their attention and made them excited to join in.

Our Approach 

  1. Youth-Friendly Design: We used bold, simple visuals and bright colors to grab attention, matching the style Gen Z loves. 
  1. Exciting Content: We highlighted concerts, art shows, creative workshops, games, and youth chats with short, catchy messages on social media to grab attention and build excitement.

Execution

  • Behind the Scenes: We worked hard behind the scenes to capture the energy of the festival, from setting up to live moments during the event. Our team was on-site, sharing updates in real-time to keep the excitement alive.
  • Social Media Buzz: We created fun and engaging posts for Instagram and TikTok, sharing sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes clips, and highlights from the festival to keep the audience engaged and connected to the experience.

Results

  • Big Reach: The campaign connected with a wide audience of young people, earning lots of likes and shares.
  • Great Turnout: The place was packed with excited people, making it fun and full of energy.
  • Positive Impact: Participants loved the experience and felt inspired and connected. 

What We Learned

UN Festival DE Tineret proved that connecting with Gen Z through authentic, relatable marketing can create something truly unforgettable. It wasn’t just an event—it was a powerful celebration of creativity, community, and the vibrant energy of a generation shaping the future.
