Designing Engaging Instagram Visuals for Email Marketing Tips

The Brief

In the lead-up to Black Friday, we wanted to share actionable tips on email marketing to support businesses optimize their up-coming campaigns. The goal was to create a series of Instagram visuals that were not only informative but also eye-catching and easy to slide for a fast-scrolling audience.

Approach

To make the tips accessible and engaging on Instagram, we focused on clean, bold designs that conveyed each best practice clearly and concisely. Here’s how we crafted the visuals:

Clear, Numbered Sections
Each slide featured a large number and straightforward headline to highlight the tip, helping viewers quickly understand the main point without reading lengthy text.

Before & After Examples
Using side-by-side “before” and “after” comparisons, we visually demonstrated the impact of each tip. This helped viewers immediately see the benefits of applying these best practices in their own email designs.

Bold Colors and Simple Icons
We chose bold, contrasting colors and minimalist icons to grab attention while maintaining a professional look. This kept the design on-brand and aligned with the informative nature of the content.
